I should know good Indonesian food when I taste it, because my mom was born and raised in Indonesia for the first 17 years of her life and my grandmother was a missionary over there for 40 years! I've enjoyed authentic Indonesian cooking my whole life from my family and some of their Indonesian friends that have visited or moved to the states. Bali has a delicious spread of Indonesian cuisine. Don't be fooled by the restaurants name that you'll only be getting cooking specific to the island of Bali. The variety includes dishes from Java, Sumatra, and other islands. Everything is made from scratch (mom vouched for the authenticity too), and is delicious to the point of wanting to stuff yourself! Prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere is great, and they even have a good selection of vegetarian meals! Please make a point of visiting this lovely restaurant on Eat Street in Minneapolis, and tell all your friends!
